Accidentally Vegan Food
We all love treats right?... and being accidentally vegan is even better!! π
I'm always on the prowl for vegan foods and constantly checking ingredients to see whether they are accidentally vegan, as they aren't always labelled as 'vegan friendly'.
Here are some of the recent foods that I've found are accidentally vegan!
1) Jacobs - Cream crackers
Kicking off with these as I feels like they are something that people would instantly think aren't vegan friendly...but I can assure you that they are!
2) Gregs - belgian buns
Gregs have recently made their belgian buns vegan!! You can usually buy a pack of two for about £1.25 which is great π
3) Tesco - Fruity helter skelters (£1)
These lollies are PERFECT for the hot days we've been having in England recently. Some other vegan lollies are: orange calippo, fruit pastels and rowntrees watermelon ones!
4) Tesco - Plain chocolate digestive biscuits (60p)
Discovered these were vegan a few months ago and boy they are good!! So glad I can have digestive biscuits and for such a cheap price as wellπ (ps...these are highly addictive haha)
4) Lidl - Dark chocolate (39p)
This is usually an essential in my weekly Lidl shop! such a bargain as well.
5) Lidl - Almond & orange chocolate (£1.29)
Bit of a pricier range from Lidl, but definitely worth it in my eyes! The almong vies the chocolate a nice crunch and the orange makes it more like terry's chocolate orange π With this range lidl also have a salt flavour, chilli and plain which are all also vegan!
6) Lidl - Choco rice cereal (£1.18 at Lidl and currently 2-4-£2 at Morrisons!)
Basically a replica of coco pops yet way cheaper ! Win win as its cheap and vegan haha
7) Aldi -'Natural selection' cocovanilla protein flapjack
These are Aldi's version of Graze's cocoa vanilla flapjacks. They are pretty much the same...however you can tell they are cheaper in taste slightly.
8) Aldi - 'coco loco' Tropical coconut water popsicles
9) Alpen - Jaffa cake bars
10) Pringles - BBQ, smokey bacon, original and paprika
11) Hotel Chocolat - Classic hot chocolate (£9)
My Grandma accidentally bought this for my family for easter and turns out its vegan friendly! Bit pricier than other brands ... but you're paying for the quality, so worth it for a treat or a lovely present π
12) Foxs - Cookie minis (Available in most supermarkets, but currently £1 in Asda)
These are AMAZING! I will easily eat the whole packet in one sitting...no lie haha
13) Foxs - Party rings
Both co-ops doughnut flavours are vegan and are usually on offer for 2-4-£1. However, this is the only shop I know . that have accidentally vegan doughnuts, so watch out!
15) Co-op - Cherry pie (£1.19)
This has been a recently labelled vegan product (to my knowledge anyway) however I've been unable to try it yet! The gooseberry pie is also vegan from the Co-op.
16) M&S - Phizzy pig tails
The fizzy tails from the 'percy pig' range are vegan wooo. These are the only ones in the brand that are vegan so make sure you're not eating any gelatineπ³.
17) McVities - Lemon puffs
18) Asda - Pink wafers (59p)
Asda's awn brand of pink wafers are vegan...BUT most other brands aren't. So make sure you go for Asda's own, or check the ingredients in other flavours.
19) Skittles
20) Lotus original caramelised biscuits (and spreads!)
The spreads are BOMB. My favourite is the crunchy one as I love having more texture π
Hope you guys liked this post π if you did, please be sure to give it a like!!
Much love,
Em x
